This project was to convert an existing garage to a “granny annex”, to accommodate the owner of the house herself, so her family could live in the house and look after her.

The roof was replaced, but the existing blockwork was retained and clad with 150mm EPS insulation, which will help keeping the bills very low. A timber porch was added to give a useful space and add some protection from the elements. The project was completed on time and on budget, using a JCT Minor Works contract.
